The School of Architecture & Design is looking for a suitable candidate to fill an important vacant position in the key area of History and Theory in Architecture and Design. The appointee will have an outstanding record in teaching and research in the areas of history and theory of architecture and design; a demonstrated commitment to the importance of design and sustainability as they relate to historical and theoretical knowledge; and demonstrated personal qualities necessary for effective relations within an interdisciplinary design School and across all sectors of the professions. The position will involve teaching in the History and Theory in Design stream and in design studios, contributing to the School's research in his or her areas of expertise, and being involved in School and University administration and governance as required.
